Mayor Greg Davies joins business members in their round table discussion topics.
Our recent meeting held on 19 June was an overwhelming success with the impromptu visit from our Patron, Mayor Greg Davies.
Mr Davies welcomed all attendees and encouraged them to continue supporting the network and growing their businesses. He emphasised how important it was to keep as much wealth within our community and highlighted the resently launched 'Buy Penrith Valley' campagne.
After the usual 30 second introduction from participants, four tables were set up with topics such as
- How to run an effective Home Business
- Branding and your Business
- Cashflow and Budgeting
- How to Network Effectively
Members chose a table topic that was of most relevance to them and discussed these issues.
The PVHBBN committee also conducted their annual survey to find out what members are looking for in the network and how/if it can be improved at all.
All new members were presented with their New Member Packs and are able to start utilising their member to member benefits immediately.
The Home Based Business works very closely with our Penrith Business Advisory Centre at Suite 1, Level 1, 111 Henry Street Penrith. The BAC can advise and assit you in most business matters and discounted workshops are available to HBBN members, so we encourage you to contact them.
